Who has "the heart of a Rocket"?
Seven years ago, we began the Rocket Way Employee of the Month initiative, and while we have been very proud to honor more than 100 of our staff throughout that time, we feel that the time has come for a new recognition program.We know that moments of greatness happen every day, and often, they happen when nobody else is watching. Sometimes, it’s an encouraging word for a student just when he or she needs to hear it most. It may be covering a coworker’s class, so he or she can attend to a family emergency. Maybe it’s an engaging lesson that clearly took hours of planning and practice. Or it may look like a bus driver’s phone call home to check on a child who has missed riding the bus due to sickness.All of these moments, collectively, are what make our Rocket family great, and they all deserve to be recognized. Our #HeartofaRocket campaign gives staff, students, parents, and community members the opportunity to help us celebrate the hearts behind the moments in Crittenden County Schools.Anyone can share, using a very brief digital form found at: https://forms.gle/gGtuA1LGqv9htibG6 . You also may complete a physical form, found at each school’s front desk, at the Board of Education office, or at the service desk at Marion Food Giant. Each month, we will collect the forms and share the great stories, straight from the hearts of our Rocket family members, with both our own staff and with the public through our social media outlets. Staff members who have been mentioned each month also will be invited to attend our Board of Education meeting to be celebrated.Please help us recognize the #HeartofaRocket today!
